Wipe down the outside of the gun with a paper towel.
Tie a rolled up paper towel to the string. Make sure that the towel can fit in the barrel. On the other side of the string tie on the screw or nut.
Drop the nut down the barrel and pull the towel through.
Spray another paper towel with the oil and rub down the outside of the gun with the towel.
Spray the inside with the oil
Put another rolled up paper towel on the string and pull it through the barrel to clean out the extra oil.
Put the lock in the action.
